AR Group inspired the audiences at Slush 2015, Helsinki

Representing AR Group and its technology units, Daniel Surya was invited as one of the key speakers at Slush 2015 in Helsinki, Finland amongst other key speakers such as Niklas Zennstrom (co-founder of Skype), Caterina Fake (Co-Founder of Flickr), Prince Daniel (Prince of Sweden), Toomas Hendrik Ilves (President of Estonia), Bracken Darrell (CEO of Logitech) and others. Slush has grown into one of the largest Technology-event worldwide and a central hub for established companies and brands that are interested in emerging technology. In 2015 Slush brought together over 15,000 attendees on November 11-12th. The two-day event takes place every fall in wintery Scandinavia amidst one of the most dynamic tech ecosystems on the planet.

The event offers a unique platform for product launches, open innovation challenges and networking events. Partners who have worked with Slush over the previous years include companies such as Google, Alibaba Group, Samsung, Microsoft and other globally operating enterprises. Close to 700 editors, bloggers, writers and reporters from 45 countries joined Slush, representing over 400 different technology and business publications.

AR&Co awarded for the Best AR Campaign at AWE 2015, Silicon Valley (USA)

AR&Co has been awarded the Best Campaign at the Augmented World Expo’s 6th AnnualAuggie Awards 2015 – Silicon Valley, USA.

Santa Clara, June 9, 2015 – The Auggie Awards promotes and celebrates excellence in augmented reality across various platforms and categories worldwide. With over 100 nominations across nine categories including best smart glasses, best AR app and best enterprise solution, the competition is an initiative by the producers of Augmented World Expo (AWE) – the world’s largest gathering of professionals focused on Augmented and Virtual Reality, Wearable Tech, and the Internet of Things. This year’s judging panel included leaders in the AR, wearable and tech space such as Intel, Qualcomm, Epson, IEEE, THRED and Rackspace. During the award ceremony, AR&Co’s Next for Nigeria mobile app was announced as the Winner for the Best Campaign category due to its proven effectiveness to connect to the voters during the campaign in Nigeria.

AR&Co invited as Speaker at the Slush Future Brunch 2015, Los Angeles

Once again, AR&Co. was invited as one of the key speakers at one of the Slush events in Los Angeles, California. Represented by Ms Elsie Mullers being the Group Associate Director for International Business Development, she shared how the technology will play a key role in our future lifestyle during the session, widely known as FUTURE BRUNCH – an intimate and exclusive event for entrepreneurs and thought-leaders in the Los Angeles media and tech space. Hosted by memBrain (organizers of TEDx Hollywood), and by the producers of Helsinki’s remarkable SLUSH event, the event previews some of the magic of SLUSH, enable the audiences to learn and be inspired by some inspiring game-changers, while taking the opportunity to network over brunch.

AR&Co, in collaboration with the Royal Bank of Canada, has conducted a roadshow entitled “Are You Ready For The Next Reality?” across five key cities within four Asian countries, they are Jakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Taipei.
